HEPES is a kind of hydrogen ion buffer. It can control the constant pH range for a long time. It is a weak acid or base used to maintain the acidity (PH) of a solution to a chosen value after adding another acid or base. As PH managers, it's very important in many chemical applications, including Agriculture, food processing, biochemistry, medicine, and photography etc.
